Capital Program
- This project proposes to restore the pavement riding surface to a smooth and distress free condition by milling and resurfacing the existing pavement. All proposed pavement work is expected to increase safety and provide a smooth riding surface for vehicular travel for the next 10 to 12 years.1. Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) from Exit 40 (NY25) to Nassau/Suffolk County line in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County.2. Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) eastbound truck inspection area west of Exit 48 (Round Swamp Road) in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County.3.
