THE EXISTING BRIDGE IS A NON-REDUNDANT STRUCTURE, THAT IS HYDRAULICALLY UNDER-SIZED AND DOES NOT MEET CURRENT HYDRAULIC REQUIREMENTS. THE EXISTING ABUTMENTS ARE STEEL SHEET PILES THAT ARE DETERIORATING AND DELAMINATING AT THE WATER LINE.
