THE EXISTING STRUCTURE IS EXHIBITING SIGNS OF DETERIORATION IN THE BEARING AREAS, MID-SPAN FLANGES AND STEEL ABUTMENTS. BOTH ABUTMENTS ENCROACH IN THE WATERWAY OPENING. THE BRIDGE DOES NOT MEET CURRENT HYDRAULIC STANDARDS.
