Capital Program
- This project will correct existing pavement deficiencies on US Route 1 and Putnam Avenue (Route 982C) in the Village of Port Chester and Town of Rye, Westchester County. The project limits along US Route 1 extend from the I-287 interchange to the New York - Connecticut State Line. Paving along Putnam Avenue will occur from Route 120A to US Route 1. The work will primarily consist of milling the existing pavement and resurfacing the roadway with a warm-mix asphalt overlay to the road surface to extend its service life and improve the quality and safety of the pavement. The work may include curb ramp upgrades to Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards where feasible.Corrective Maint · Let by NYSDOT · Planned construction completion Oct 26, 2027
