THIS PROJECT REPLACES THE BRIDGE THAT CARRIES LOFT RD OVER SCHENEVUS CREEK (BIN 2227620), IN THE TOWN OF MARYLAND, OTSEGO COUNTY. A STANDARD TWO-LANE MULTI-GIRDER BRIDGE REPLACES THE EXISTING SINGLE SPAN ONE-LANE BRIDGE. THE PROJECT INVOLVES ADEQUATELY LENGTHENING THE BRIDGE SPAN AND ADDS NEW ABUTMENTS FOUNDED ON PILES WITH SCOUR PROTECTION. BRIDGE NY 2021. PROJECT IS FUNDED WITH 95% FEDERAL / 5% LOCAL AND USES 15% TOLL CREDITS.
