REPLACEMENT AND UPGRADE OF EXISTING VARIABLE MESSAGE SIGNS (VMS). THIS PROJECT WILL REPLACE THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM IN THE BRONX, NEW YORK, QUEENS, AND KINGS COUNTIES, NEW YORK CITY. THE NEW SIGNS WILL REPLACE EQUIPMENT THAT HAS REACHED THE END OF SERVICE LIFE AND OR REPLACE EXISTING VMS WITH ONES THAT MEET CURRENT SPECIFICATIONS.
